For the Part 23 Operator
- Garmin has pretty well nailed the market for part 23 aircraft. When it comes to performance, reliability and functionality Garmin leads the way.
The GPS 400W (400 series) and GPS 500W (500 series), both similar units with the only difference being physical size, function as a GPS receiver and color moving map. Both units are capable of interfacing with a variety of avionics and feature built in WAAS capable receivers. Their WAAS GPS receivers are fully certified and allow full use of LPV approach technology.
Optional interface inputs include traffic, weather, lightning detect, and terrain awareness.

For the Part 25 Operator
